About Me

The 2009-2010 school year will be my eighth year of teaching at Leyden High School District 212.  I am proud to be part of such a dynamic and dedicated faculty.

In 2006, I completed my Master's Degree in Information Systems from the school of CTI at DePaul University.  I specialized in Network Security.  In 2002, I graduated from Concordia University in River Forest, IL, with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with certifications in math and computer science.

I am a firm believer in hands-on experience, and try to integrate it into my classroom whenever possible.  I also believe that most classroom assignments should be done under the direct supervision of the instructor.  As a result, students will be expected to spend time after school in the computer lab when necessary.

In June of 2007, I married my wonderful wife Prudence, who is very understanding of teacher deadlines, long after school hours, and grading weekends.  This June, my daughter Riley turned one year old!
